Meet Dr. Mercado
Hi, I’m Dr. Ketty Y. Mercado and I created Healin’ and Wheelin’ because I believe veterinary care should feel as comforting and personal as it is professional.
For many pets, a trip to the clinic can be stressful—new smells, unfamiliar sounds, and long waits. By coming to your home, I’m able to care for your pet in a place where they feel safe, relaxed, and truly themselves. It also gives me the chance to slow down, listen, and build a real connection with both you and your pet.
I earned my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oklahoma State University, and over the years I’ve developed a special love for preventative care, fear free and chronic disease management. My approach is centered on compassion, clear communication, and treating every pet as if they were my own.
Outside of veterinary medicine, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, horseback riding and hiking and I share my life with my cats Mew and Rooster and dogs Sirius and Kalila, who constantly remind me why this work means so much to me.

We bring quality and compassionate care directly to your home. Our goal is to provide convenient veterinary care in your pet’s familiar environment, reducing stress for both pets and owners.
We will perform wellness exams, vaccinations, preventative care, diagnostics, and treatments while eliminating the need for car rides, waiting rooms, and other in-office stress.
We focus on personalized care and one-on-one attention for every pet we see. From yearly health care to addressing a health concern, our goal is to make veterinary care more accessible, comfortable, and convenient for you and your pet.
